From arrival to the journey home

Every trip and every situation is different. We arrange everything in advance and stay in touch with you at every stage — before surgery, during your stay in Istanbul, and after you return home.

For surgeries under general anesthesia the trip takes 7–8 days, under local anesthesia 2–3 days. After Botox and fillers there is no need to stay in Istanbul.

The trip plan for surgery under general anesthesia. Our assistants are available 24/7 — from arrival to departure. The exact schedule is set around your arrival time and surgery date.

    Arrival

    Meet-and-greet at the airport and transfer. Depending on your arrival time — a consultation with the doctor and preparation for surgery.

    Surgery day

    Blood tests, ECG, and a consultation with the anesthesiologist. Surgery under general anesthesia, followed by a night in the clinic under observation.

  3. 1

    Discharge

    A check by the doctor, discharge from the clinic, and transfer to your hotel.

  4. 2–6

    Recovery

    Recovery at the hotel following the doctor’s guidance. The team stays in touch throughout your stay.

  5. 7

    Follow-up check

    The final check before you leave. By this point any drains that were placed have already been removed, dressings have been changed and stitches taken out; after rhinoplasty, the nasal splint has been removed. The doctor makes sure that healing is going normally and there are no signs of complications. Then a transfer to the airport.

After you return

The care continues

After you return home, you stay in touch with the doctor’s team. Your follow-up photos are shared with the doctor so he can assess how your recovery is progressing and advise on the next steps.

Will someone meet me?

Yes. You’ll be met at the airport and driven to the clinic. The team is in touch from the moment you land — message us if your flight is delayed.

Can I come with someone?

Yes. With the full package, one companion stays with you at the hotel at no extra cost and joins all transfers.

Which airport should I fly into?

The most convenient is Istanbul Airport (IST): it’s on the European side, like the clinic. From Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) the drive is longer, but we’ll meet you there too.

How many days do I need to be in Istanbul?

For surgeries under general anesthesia we recommend 7–8 days in Istanbul — from arrival to the follow-up check. For surgeries under local anesthesia, 2–3 days are enough. After Botox and fillers there is no need to stay in Istanbul. The coordinator will agree exact dates with you after the doctor’s preliminary assessment.

When should I book my return flight?

Once the doctor confirms your surgery date. Departure is after the follow-up check: on day 7 for surgeries under general anesthesia, after 2–3 days under local anesthesia; an evening flight works best.

What should I bring?

Your passport, any regular medications, and clothing that buttons or zips up — so you don’t have to pull it over your head. Your coordinator will send a full list before your trip.
