What a breast lift with implants involves
Four stages — from the initial assessment to the follow-up check. You’ll know in advance how the preparation, surgery, and recovery unfold.

Preliminary assessment by the doctor
Send photos and describe the changes you’d like. The doctor will assess your anatomy and the possible scope of correction. An online consultation with the doctor is also available.

Consultation and preparation in Istanbul
Before surgery, you’ll have an in-person consultation with the doctor and the necessary preoperative workup — its scope depends on the type of surgery and anesthesia.
Preparation and tests
During the consultation, the doctor assesses the degree of breast sagging and the condition of the skin, and discusses your goals along with your anatomy: the shape and volume of your own breasts, the shape of the chest, and the position of the nipples. Based on this, the shape and volume of the implant are chosen and a surgical plan is drawn up.
Before surgery, you’ll have tests and a consultation with the anesthesiologist. Healing time is affected by age, underlying conditions, and habits, so let the doctor know in advance about any medications you take, chronic conditions, and smoking.

Surgery
In a single operation, excess skin is removed, the breast is reshaped, and the implant is placed. The surgery takes about 2 hours — approximately, depending on the scope of the surgery and individual factors. The doctor will discuss the type of anesthesia with you in advance. After surgery, the patient stays overnight at the clinic under medical supervision.
During the surgery
The lift removes excess skin and creates a higher breast shape, while the implant adds volume and fills out the upper pole.
As a rule, silicone gel–filled implants are used. The shape, size, and profile of the implant are chosen individually, taking into account your examination and body structure, with the specialist’s recommendations as the main guide.

Recovery
After discharge, recovery continues at your hotel, and the assistants stay in touch with you. For the first few days the breast is covered with dressings; once they are removed you can shower, and a special bra is worn for 6 weeks. The doctor performs a follow-up check before your flight home.

1–3A check-up before discharge and the move to your hotel. The breast is covered with dressings, and arm movements are limited at first. Some pain is possible — the doctor will prescribe pain relief.
7The final check before you leave. By this point any drains that were placed have already been removed, dressings have been changed and stitches taken out. The doctor makes sure that healing is going normally and there are no signs of complications.
6 wkA special bra is worn for 6 weeks. Swelling goes down and the breasts gradually take their shape.
6–12 moThe final breast shape. The scars continue to fade and become much less noticeable.
Risks and contraindicationsPatient safety is the priority at every stage. Before the procedure, the doctor assesses the patient’s health.
Risks
Like any surgical procedure, a breast lift with implants carries possible risks, including bleeding, infection, swelling, delayed wound healing, temporary changes in sensation, asymmetry, variations in how scars form, and risks related to the implant. In some cases an additional correction may be needed. The possible risks are discussed with the patient before surgery.
Contraindications
Acute illnesses and inflammatory conditions, blood-clotting disorders, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and certain chronic conditions may be grounds for postponing surgery or performing additional evaluation. The decision on whether surgery can proceed is made by the doctors after assessing the patient’s health.

The cost is calculated individually. The doctor provides it after reviewing your photos. Send them on WhatsApp — you’ll receive a plan and the full price.
Is it painful after surgery?
When the lift is done at the same time as implant placement, some pain may be felt in the first few days. The doctor will prescribe pain relief and explain how to make the early period more comfortable.
Will the scars be visible?
After a lift, the scars gradually fade and become much less noticeable over time. The doctor will discuss the placement of the incisions during the consultation.
When can I return to work and sports?
Timing is individual and depends on how your recovery goes. The doctor will give you personal recommendations at the follow-up check and will stay in touch with you after you return home.
Why not have just a lift?
A lift removes excess skin and raises the breast but does not add volume. If you want to increase the size and fill out the upper part of the breast, it is combined with an implant.
How many days do I need to be in Istanbul?
For surgeries under general anesthesia we recommend 7–8 days in Istanbul — from arrival to the follow-up check; under local anesthesia, 2–3 days. The coordinator will agree exact dates with you after the doctor’s preliminary assessment.
When can I fly home?
After the follow-up check on day 7. The doctor clears you to go home once he’s confident your recovery is on track.
